HALLOWEEN!

It is Halloween today, but I am not going to be doing anything for it, just stay home and do nothing. Anyway, in Human Geography we took a couple notes on the previous topic of population, as shown:

Why do people migrate?

Push Forces - ones that make someone want to leave a country


  • civil wars
  • environmental degradation 
  • un/under employment
  • Religious or ethnic persecution or major and unaccepted bias

Pull Forces - ones that make you want to enter a country

  • better economic opportunity
  • Better health services/care
  • Religious freedom
  • Political freedom
